Located very close to the heart of the city, in the district's financial capital of Europe 's Hotel Sofitel Europe is perhaps the most beautiful hotel in which I have hitherto had the opportunity to stay overnight.
As the title is a four star hotel conveniently located in a square full of restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the big buildings of the European Community and the metro station Place Schuman.
The reason for the night was: on vacation and you can read more in the post dedicated to my weekend spent in Brussels.
I booked online a few months in advance and I reserved a room with twin beds, unfortunately there was no available bed, and I had the opportunity to pay around 180 € per night breakfast included.
The room very nice, clean bathroom and a spacious and bright, equipped with minibars and flat screen TV, safe, bathrobes and slippers disposable. The best part, however, comes in the morning when you come down for breakfast. The buffet is served in a room beautifully decorated, spacious and very elegant in its simplicity and unlike the vast majority of hotels is served until 11:00.
The buffet is delicious, and impeccable service with at least five attendants who continue to turn the orders of the meter to prevent the milk on your table or end cuts that may not be adequate to the needs of diners. Coffee and tea are served continuously with the opportunity to enjoy delicious cakes, croissants and cereals, but for those who prefer the breakfast of sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs is enough to draw on the covered dishes to satisfy your hunger for good.
Last note is excellent which can be checked out by 13:00 hours which means once again that there is no need to run around the clock if you are Softel Hotel Europe for reasons of pleasure and do not feel like waking up too early.
A note to clarify what kind of hotel we speak, I read in the closet of the room's standard rates for the importance that was dealing and said 425 euro per night! So this explains the mystery, it is certainly a superior four star but I was lucky enough to find a price competitivissimo.
