Last weekend I took advantage of a cheap Ryanair flight for a trip home and just to Pisa, a city that I never had the opportunity to visit. I then took the opportunity to spend a day in Lucca also due to the proximity of the two great cities of Tuscany and ease of movement between them. But let's order:
Day December 5: Pisa
At 19:45 she left with Marta at a time from Dublin to Pisa. The beauty of this flight is due not only cost but also time that does not require to take holidays or days of business on Friday. The first note
fun comes as we are in the queue for boarding. After a few minutes late (who said Ryanair?) Someone cares to check the monitor for verifcare that there were no changes Boarding Gate e. .. ta daaa! The monitor displays the following words: Pisa 19:45 - Departed.
practiced according to the computer we were already in flight! Clearly there was a mistake since the whole crew was on the ground, in fact everything was settled between a laugh and the other is an operator that has come to open the gate.
"Ta ta daaaa" to the sound of jingle in Pisa with Ryanair landed fewer than 3 minutes early, we leave the plane and take a couple of things at a kiosk. Two biscuits and a bottle of water is our night snack, Martin pointed out to me the ticket: € 3.10 and we think we look in the air only cost 3 euro bottle of mineral.
The second note of significance is to be done for the moment when we got to wait for the bus that connects the downtown to the airport. The journey costs € 1.50, the last one is for midnight. During the wait, we are called by a couple of ladies of a certain age that inquires about the service. Speaking discover that two Welsh that would otherwise be inclined to take a taxi there and Martha and I offer to split the middle.
Now they smile and tell us "less evil, if there are two Italians sure do not try to trick us, you know that drivers here do ...", then Marta explains that the Italian are actually I and I try to make it clear that all the world over and that I did not know the area so I did not feel free "scam". In fact, the juice seemed to be that drivers routinely scrub Italians and foreigners. The thing I am sure it has a foundation but I liked the certainty with which the two Welsh they advertise their "cunning" in the matter.
few minutes later the bus finally arrives, I, Martha, and another group we go to the front door. Tickets are not sold on the ground since it was late at night, so we all bought from the driver who very kindly gave us information and tickets (not a cost-plus). After sitting there and I stamped and Martha hear the two ladies of the first laugh out loud, Marta I mention that the two were from behind and giggled happy because they were not able to pay. Well as always I was confirmed that it is the first hijacked to steal her purse snatcher if we give him the opportunity and that all good speeches that do end up having very different results when implemented in practice and not only applies to bad guys Italians but also for all other "poor" foreigners.

The journey by bus takes a few minutes, the airport of Pisa is glued to the center, 10 minutes after we go down to the station where he dropped the two women who tried to cling like leeches almost Marta and I head down ' Hotel Alessandro della Spina *** .
It closes in a fragrant and welcoming rooms of the hotel our first night in Pisa.
Day December 6: Lucca
Kindness is definitely a factor that you can not see in Pisa, asking anyone we will always smile ( andima hurt either), and clear and precise. And so we got with Marta, Saturday morning, information on how to reach the city of Lucca. The bus costs € 1.50 and switch via Crispi (near the train station), here you can also buy your ticket on board and the trip takes about 20-30 minutes of pleasant rustic Tuscan landscape. An important note to remember if you ever decide to follow the example: the bus is different from urban ones and blue, do not take a citizen who says "Porta a Lucca" because it is an area of \u200b\u200bPisa and I had committed the 'failure to take it (fortunately I asked the driver immediately after the start and I did not go too far on the way).
arrive in Lucca we immediately found a very useful map showing the city as a whole is marked with a red line the suggested route for a walk along the center. At this point you can decide to photograph and use the map below, or follow the path and is always in every new road map marked the same scaled-down version that vi continuerà a guidare lungo tutto il cammino.
Il pranzo è costato circa 35 euro comprendendo vino della casa, acqua mineral, two main courses, dessert and two coffees.
The afternoon is spent walking more, including a photo and a shooting, passing through a square where he had organized a skating rink on the ice with lots of stalls selling all kinds of chocolate. All in a splendid Italian winter.
On the streets there were many families with children and the Christmas lights stood out as the evening descended. The feeling that we lived and that most impressed me is that Marta is the serenity, tranquility to the center of a chaotic winter Lucca, a normality that I was missing for some time.
Giorno 7 dicembre: Pisa
L'ultimo giorno di permanenza non è stato in realtà un giorno ma solo half a day before the afternoon flight with Ryanair.

Pisa is well known that it does not offer much in terms of public amenities. The most beautiful thing to see is that huge wedding favor which is the Piazza dei Miracoli with the complex that houses the leaning tower par excellence. Also note really demerit for all those who love moron smear the walls with their ideologies, thoughts, deeds and passions ... each wall in Pisa is a huge book containing everything. Marta has left us very badly and I could not confirm that this nice custom is repeated in several Italian cities. The suggestion is to buy a Smemoranda or what is used today for school diary and draw all the things that go through your head, take a page to his girlfriend for maybe without having to mess with spray cans and dirty places that have survived wars and real struggles, not those stupid ideology and pedantic!
After Photos from the typical moron who support the leaning tower, we walked along the Arno and then lunch is always being Bonaini but this time in another room nicer, so I waited 40 minutes and mixed fried fish!
At 17:00 we were in the queue for boarding and how good the Italian tradition when there half an hour to fly the friendly round of rises and makes up her mind the door to arrive earlier in the typical crowd for the seats desired by Ryanair that assigns them. And as always happens that the flight departs late so those that were scheduled for 17:30 hours as the boat moves to 17:50 and then all piled up to an hour.
But thank God everything changes once on board, fasten your seat, ready to take off and go back on it thinking maybe close your eyes for a while and catch our breath after two days' journey, but ... with Ryanair this is a luxury that you do not pay. Price not stated because of the flight are the millions of advertisements that bombard us from a very high volume and that blew up from the seat. But vediamoli in order:
- Fila for boarding: Miss trying to pass "Impros" (as they say in Calabrian dialect) tickets for the bus Terravision from Dublin airport in Dublin Centre. A real rip-off since the 747 and 748 are half price and have a service that I think best.
- Entry into the cabin : Starfish Rechargeable Calling Cards. Serving as a kick in the rear or chestnuts as the internet point in the center are two million pounds and cost for an international call.
- First 20 minutes : Bar and sandwiches. Not comment on the quality and especially the prices.
- After 45 minutes: Scratch card. If you want to be a millionaire now, or newlyweds Piersilvio at the suggestion of the Cavaliere or games with Ryanair.
- After 1 hour : Calendar Ryanair. The hostess of the famous company are what is called the employee must give their all to the company. All clear for charity ...
- After 1 hour 30 min. : Gadgets gift. I always expect to go by plane to buy the perfume.
- After 1 hour 45 min. : New mini-bar passage, which makes you want to put another roll of plastic.
- After 1 hour and 55 min. : Ridaje with Terravision ... not prendooooo!
- After 2 hours and 10 min. : Third step mini-bar (if it sees that its not sold) and most obviously should eat on board the aircraft just 15 minutes from landing to cost and quality!
So comes the communication of the third flight attendant, the other two were Italian, I do not know what nationality that starts with an accent sbiasciato "We're landing, turn off the lights bzzbzzzbzz this procedure if you want no light above your head bzbzbzbbzzz" for the series but with two Italian on board to talk to them was too much to ask?
Landing with a few minutes late but no horns and no announcement "another delayed flight from Ryanair ...
