Quick brackets for the "Living in Dublin " inherent in the species most discussed topic among foreigners here in Ireland: the weather?

Many know the cliché "there is more than half the season," Well, here in Dublin after three years of residence I can say with certainty that "there are no seasons." That's right, contrary to what one might think in fact in Dublin is not really cold, indeed, the climate is often mild and would not be too cold even in winter if it were not for the constant gusts of wind. However as I said there are no seasons and by that I mean that, except as to consider the caledario never be able to understand what time of year you are.

In the last two years we had no summer, the sky is permanently gray except in very windy days that clearly brighten the sky and the rain was more than often. Apparently it has marked a historical record of days of continuous rain which stood at about 2 months.

Because of the strong and continuous wind then there occurs a phenomenon known by the locals "four seasons in one hour." That dire che è possibile passare dalla pioggia al cielo sereno e viceversa in pochi minuti, rendendo impossibile la comune idea di svegliarsi e provare a prevedere come vestirsi .

La soluzione migliore rimane infatti sempre quella di vestirsi a strati per poter togliere sempre tanti strati quanto più la temperatura aumenta e viceversa vestirsi con l'abbassarsi della stessa.

Da persona mediterranea che adora il sole non posso che soffrire la condizione atmosferica locale, posso assicurarvi infatti che chi ama il sole comincia ad avere delle crisi e cali di pressione alla lunga se non si spezza con delle vacanze in zone calde (cosa che provo a fare con una certa frequenza).

Altri amici però non soffrono particolarmente la cosa, in parte perché magari arrivati più tardi di me in Irlanda, in parte perché provenienti da zone altrettanto piovose e dal clima non troppo diverso.
